I want this, if anyone at GitHub follows me and isn't being forced to churn out bad react code, could you make it happen?

Having to click on the forks dropdown and then click a link is just enough friction to be annoying. Feel free to write it in bad react if it gets management sign off.

Had a nice day out at Slimbridge yesterday. Picked up the Temminck's stint bringing me to 196 UK species for the year. Also managed my first ever photo of a bittern!

Some bonus snipe showing very well, and a perfectly timed white fronted goose, first of the winter!

Sneak peak at some base appearance prototyping in Chromium. (Styles are far from finalised but you get the rough idea)

There's a place near Abercynon where the path bends up the hill where I've managed to get good views into the pines below to see them. I also happened to get very lucky and get some on Brownsea today!

I was reading its best year for them in Wales in at least 25 years! Hadn't even heard of them until this year and now I've had one on my doorstep! + the Red-necked up at Lisvane.

Missed out on the first one (was chasing a grey phalarope in Llanelli), but I lucked out when a 2nd Red-necked Phalarope showed up in Cardiff, with 2 Grey Phalaropes keeping it company. This plus a Curlew Sandpiper at Slimbridge brings me to 200 lifers!

Grey Phalarope at WWT Llanelli today. Nice find because I missed out on the one last week.

199th lifer, 196th year tick and 191st UK year tick! Getting very close to my goal of 200 UK year ticks for 2025 now.

Wtf does this even mean? Why can't manufacturers just use their words rather than all making up their own hieroglyphs. 😅

Cool to see such a distinct drop in use counter hits for the `::-webkit-scrollbar` pseudo element when the standard properties (that I implemented) got shipped in Chromium. 12% isn't ideal but better than 16%.

In Firefox I see the below rendering. In Chrome Canary it just renders as raw XML but it seems to work in Chrome Stable so that might be a wonky flag on my end.

survey.devographics.com/en-US/survey... - huh who knew someone who worked on the web platform would know about a lot of features. Still learnt some new ones!

I spy with my little eye customisable multi-select (both drop-down and listbox!) 👀

Working on a JetBrains IDE plugin to add support for WebIDL, I got bored of a block of white text whenever I have to touch these files (often). Been pretty interesting to see how it all works tbf.

It's sunny enough! (We'll ignore the grey clouds I've cropped out)

Blue skies, nice breeze, waves lapping against the rocks. Perfection.

Gave this a spin while I was travelling, a few more than I expected. Also shows off the areas that are obnoxiously expensive via train. Seems I need to find an excuse to explore the east a bit more.

What's the best way to build this sort of UI with CSS? I'm thinking some form of fancy clip-path, perhaps using the new shape(), but I'm not really sure where to even begin.

Recent trip to Northumberland to see puffins was a success!

I managed to add multiple lifers: Wood Sandpiper, Little Tern, Wood Warbler, Tree Pipit and Spotted Flycatcher.

Along with a few year ticks: Eiders, Sandwich Terns, Arctic Terns, and Puffins. Bringing me to 183 for the year.

Fucking amateurs are serving 10MBs of JavaScript for a static page and can't even get their pointless sticky header to not clip the page title...

Nice afternoon at Forest Farm and the nearby river taff yesterday. Finally got my first dippers of the year (and first in Wales!) taking me to 174 year ticks.

Amazing day on the Gower, found the Kittiwakes on Mumbles Pier. Plus a total of 14 seals along the coastal path to Caswell bay!

Tried my luck with a last-minute trip up to Cwm Cadlan today to see if the recent Dotterel were still about. It was a success, with one female still remaining, bringing me to 172. It didn’t show off its orange belly, but I still got good views. A bonus male Wheatear too.

Trip to Slimbridge yesterday got me 2 new lifers: An amazingly colourful Bluethroat and a distant male Garganey. Plus I got a House Martin year tick bringing me up to 171 for the year!

Managed to also get amazing views of 11 Common Cranes (including a chick!).

I've reached 165 birds for the year today. Heard my first Cuckoos, and found some terns. Bonus was a clear shot of a swallow and whitethroat.
