I was actually JUST thinking about this. I'm impressed with their selection of hockey leagues for the most part, but I think it's really weird they have the QMJHL and OHL but not the WHL? But having SHL and AHL might just be enough for me. I'm kicking it around in my head.

Maybe NFLD is just a separate trip all together. I really want to go to Gander during September anyway.

An unpopular opinion but I find Marchand unbelievably sexy. I thought about Halifax as a destination but it feels like another place I’d run out of things to do quickly. Also I feel like I’ll need a car in Newfoundland but Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto I should be fine?

Forgive my American ignorance but I had to map it. At least it looks like you’re easy distance from QC and Halifax. That’s kind of fun. I know there’s been a lot of shouting for QC to get a team so maybe in the future that’ll be fun? It probably won’t happen but we can hope.

Their website used to have listening links but it’s such a disaster this year I can’t even find regular game day information. I thought I’d go to the Springfield site and they do have a link to listen but it takes you to far right conservative talk radio… so… no thanks to that?

Halifax?

I'm planning on going sometime in the winter, so ice cream is probably out, but I do love a nice ferry ride. Maybe I could time it to see the Canucks in Vancouver and go see the Royals on an off day. How is public transpo in Vancouver? Will I need a car rental or is it pretty good?

I kind of wanted to see Victoria, but I heard it's not easy to get to/from. I mostly want to see some Canucks and Goldeneyes games and maaaaaybe look at apartments while I'm there. Also would be interested in seeing a major juniors game if there's an easy to get to team.

I'm from Boston. Not as cold as Canada can get, but we're up there-ish. And I'm not saying I'd WANT a surprise snowstorm at the end of my trip to shut down airports and leave me stranded in Canada forever.. but I'm not NOT saying that.

I'm thinking about either March or November. Nothing is set in stone. Quite a difference in time, yes, but I want to go when hockey is on.
