It did take a while, just because 1. They’re fiddly, with loads of nooks and crannies, and 2. I have to be at the top of a ladder to do anything with them

Yep, that’s being swapped for black. Once it’s spring, we’ll probably get it scaffolded so that we can replace the bay window roof, replace the guttering and restore the 1st floor window that’s above it (and difficult to get to because of the ladder)

CAR paint stripper. Everything else was just too weak.
Then LOTS of scrubbing with a wire brush and then repeating.
