Same with voting for Reform, pulling out of the ECHR, radical tax policy. All of these things would have an immediate impact on the country. If you believe those are long-term aims, then great. But why not wait until we are on a stable footing?

Not making a value judgment on Brexit here, but it's the most obvious example. If you believe that the country is in such a state that it could fall apart in a matter of months, why do something that is so obviously going to make markets go mad?
