The newest nonsensical part of the Trump agenda - ending programs where you can renew your passport at your library. This is just stupid. Renewing your passport at the library has been easy and helps raise money for our local libraries.

The @nytimes just reported that Donald Trump stopped $28 billion in energy and transportation money from going to blue cities, districts, and states. He's using this shutdown to punish and retaliate against Americans who voted against him. This is the opposite of how the Democrats have governed.

Kristi Noem is using TSA lines in our public airports to gaslight Americans into blaming Democrats for the shutdown. This, coming from the party that fired TSA and FAA employees and is threatening to fire even more federal workers during the shutdown.

When we said Donald Trump would militarize American cities, we got called fearmongers. Today, Donald Trump brought together our generals and admirals and talked about sending the US Military into our cities to fight a "war,” attack the "enemy from within,” and use our cities as “training grounds”.

Took some time to call & thank some of the voters who’ve given $5, $10 or $25 to support this campaign right at the start. I'm not taking money from corporate PACs, and we’re competing with an incumbent who’s going to have lots of money coming in— so every single dollar makes a huge difference.

This is a time for strength and clarity, not for holding policy roundtables and asking Donald Trump to please negotiate with us. If he wants his budget passed, then it should:
1. Stop his own corruption
2. Lower costs for Americans
3. Prevent the healthcare nightmare his own bill is about to cause

Went on @meidastouch.com last month, but this clip stays relevant. As a veteran and a former mayor, Trump deploying the national guard to yet another city is illegal, absurd, and anti-American. He's using our military as a prop and a chance to flex his authoritarian urges.

It's pretty simple: when I say we need to be everywhere, I mean it. This isn't a time to be cautious about where we take our message. Instagram, podcasts, livestreams, conservative shows, liberal shows, community centers, VFW halls... everywhere, everyday, every way we can.

If you haven’t paid attention to yesterday’s Supreme Court decision allowing masked agents to stop people on the basis or how they look or sound… pay attention. Because this is how we all lose our rights.

One reason so many Americans have lost faith in our economy - it's harder and harder to manage housing costs, whether you rent, own, or want to own. 70% of Americans are worried about housing. Lots we can do at every level, but here are some ideas we should be talking about at the federal level.

Under Pete Buttigieg, the Department of Transportation required airlines to compensate travelers when the airlines mess up/cancel flights.
Trump’s DOT (led by former airline lobbyist): …nah, we’d rather let airlines mess up and leave passengers to deal with the cost.
