Other honourable mentions- Doctor Who, Fallout New Vegas (ok it's an older game but I played it for the first time in years and with mods and put literally hundreds of hours in), Sinners and while I haven't seen as much theatre this year Starlight Express was an incredible experience

So many but picked a top 4- The Residence (so fun), the traitors, taskmaster (I know it's been running for years but I only started it this year and season 19 and 20 were wonderful) and as bleak and messed up as it was I've been thinking of Bugonia at least once a day since seeing it

I got weirdly excited seeing both the "Mandalorian and Grogu" poster at the cinema and seeing the teaser trailer on the big screen. Like now I know it's actually going to happen

My favourite running gag though is "Pause for thought for the day" with The Actor Kevin Eldon as the Unusually Priest whose platitudes begin somewhat plausible but get more surreal and unhinged as the episodes progress. Particularly as he reminds me of one of my actual theology professors

I also played through the "Someguy series" of mods. Very influenced by Cormac McCarthy's style and westerns like the great silence it's very dark (sometimes edgelordy) but good for players wanting a new challenge that explores parts of the game map that aren't used much in the main game

This particular run through my player character hasn't been having much luck, already on their fifth or sixth regeneration. Died a number of times to the Daleks and Cybermen and one time got touched by a weeping angel.

Although having a weird glitch this go around where one of the companions Veronica's clothes keep disappearing. Although I have been having fun dressing her in different costumes
