After three days of fruitful and useful work by all the attendees (scientists, technicians, states representatives, NGOs, etc) the event has been closed by the representatives of the Ministry of the Sea of Cabo Verde and the Regional Network of Members of Parliaments.

The “Regional Workshop on BBNJ and High Seas Marine Protected Areas in West Africa" has concluded with the reading and approval of the “Statement of Praia” by all the representatives attending the Workshop.
