Had a great time at the Armitage Workshop at the @mrc-bsu.bsky.social, where I presented my work on Outcome-Guided Biclustering (doi.org/10.1007/s112...). Lots of inspiring talks on Bayesian methods, multi-omics, and causal inference, plus a fantastic keynote by Matthew Stephens. Great day!
Another fantastic Armitage Workshop!

This year, it was on the theme of integration of data from multiple domains, with fantastic talks and discussions.

Thanks to all our speakers and to all those who attended.

Our paper is now out in #Statistics and Computing 🥳

With Paul Kirk & @chr1sw.bsky.social, we propose OG-SSLB, a biclustering method that integrates disease outcomes into the clustering process, improving interpretability & accuracy.

Mentored Jiawei this summer on an @nihr.bsky.social grant. She made great progress on challenging research questions in biclustering & gene expression analysis! Thanks to the @mrc-bsu.bsky.social for hosting and to my supervisor @chr1sw.bsky.social for the support. A rewarding experience! #research
This summer, we are privileged to have a fantastic group of interns with us for eight weeks.

They are each working with our researchers on projects and experiencing life at our Unit.

It's great to have you all with us 😀

A little star on my forehead today ✨ In less than 2 months, I passed:
• Theory driving test (2nd try) 🪪
• Practical driving test (1st try!) 🚗
• Life in the UK test (1st try!) 🇬🇧

Feeling proud of myself 😇

This is just manners. @anshulkundaje.bsky.social lab is very generous with sharing early, the community absolutely needs more like this, which can only happen if we all take a moment to acknowledge the giants upon whose shoulders we stand.
We share a lot of our ideas, code, datasets (that we spend years sanitizing) early. Often way before we release preprints. We do this so that others can use, build on, improve & even "beat" our approaches. But I want to say a few things about some simple expectations 1/
