No worries, it’s not universal knowledge of course. I’ve been working on these issues for a while and familiarized with the Dutch legal system in the meantime :) would love to write something but I prefer to do that later, once the dust has settled

Having said that, it is a fact that as of today, only “small fries” and migrants who accepted to become torturers or otherwise collaborated with traffickers have been prosecuted in Europe (esp. in Italy). The trial against Walid is an attempt at casting the prosecutors’ net a bit wider… Let’s hope.
