to paraphrase what my sister said to me a couple years ago, the american public is a group which hears our material conditions posing the question to them over and over: "socialism or barbarism?", and overwhelmingly responds as we have been trained to do: "barbarism! barbarism!"

But I can’t find a small appliance repair shop nearby that will repair them. Am I supposed to just throw them away and get new ones? It wasn’t always that way.
