Yesterday’s leg day class. Posting this while eating grilled chicken and halloumi fries to help forget about my sore legs 😂 Tough circuit style session with very little break time between each exercise. Fair to say I had shaky legs for a while

Boxfit class today. Was looking forward to this but spent the whole time feeling sick 😓 Started taking Creatine today so not sure if that was a factor, but feeling fatigued certainly didn’t help. Going to try get an early night and try again next time

Back to the gym with leg day after a break. Work stress and bad weather put gym and running on the back burner so booked myself in for today get back into the habit.

Leg day class. Safe to say I am very sore. All over. I have upper body planned for tomorrow but have no idea if I’ll physically be able to get out of bed 😂
Not sure if I should move my run day to a different day to day, but I have more time on Fridays. We’ll have to see

Run 11/145. 45min run aiming for a comfortable cruising pace. So I ended up going faster than the recommended pace and upset the app 😂 Was a bit nervous about this run because of the frost and still feeling stiff but it went great and cracked 6km in 45mins 😊

New Year’s Eve Boxfit. Got death by burpees as a warmup 😂 Had to do 10 burpees within a minute with 10 secs to recover, 10 times!! So was absolutely knackered for the rest of the session. Going to get some sleep and a rest day so happy new year everyone 🎉

(30/12/25) Run 10/145. Going to quote this with the 8x 200m splits screenshots because Bluesky only allows 4 photos at a time. This one was a pain. Didn’t help I was already in a bad mood but the fast intervals were mostly done on inclines 😩

Abs, back & biceps plus long walk. First time in ages doing upper body and I’ve decided to switch up how I record my progress. Come up with a workout that I’m happy to stick with and starting out finding the weights that push me. Tired, hoping to sleep well tonight

Run 9/145. Was supposed to be a slow recovery jog but was in a good mood so my cruising speed was just a bit faster. Made a plan for incorporating more gym sessions into my weekly routine. Been neglecting upper body recently so it’s time to sort that out 😂

Run 8/145. Fitbit and Kiprun reckon I’m under training. Apparently having Christmas and Boxing Day off is a crime but I needed the break 😂 Needed to stretch more before as it was a bit uncomfortable on my calves. Apart from that it’s another session in the books

(24/12/25) Run 7/145. Had to stray from the recommended pace for the intense section as it was supposed to be the same as the warmup and cooldown. Next session has some strength training but depending on what I have to do will depend if I’ll go to the gym for the session

Run 6/145. Got as far as taking the screenshots then forgot to post them yesterday. I think fine is the best way to describe it. It was a postponed one from Sunday and was feeling tired. Still not feeling great but will take each day as it comes over Christmas

Run 5/145. This was from Saturday but had a very busy weekend so didn’t get around to posting. I’ll post my splits in a repost because there’s a lot of info. Felt pretty good. I think my technique has definitely improved as I don’t get as much discomfort in my lower legs

Friday Leg day class. Went in having very little energy. Was feeling rough most of the day: not a lot of sleep and had a bit too much to drink. Didn’t get my Friday run in so I’m going to have to squeeze that in before a very busy weekend.

Run 4/145. Finally managed to satisfy the app 😂 Somehow managed to keep to a slower pace and got to focus on my form. Was kind of relaxing for once. Next session looks like a hard one so I’ll see how that goes

Run 3/145. This one felt a bit rough. I don’t think I quite have the right technique which makes the run a little uncomfortable. Plus I hit a long incline when I got to the 6mins faster pace.
Need to look at how to improve my stride and keep it in mind.

Super pumped for the class then got hit by how hard it was. Was even steaming from how hot and sweaty I got 😅
Need to practice my RDLs though. I don’t feel super confident with my form 😕

Run session: 40mins warmup-3mins fast-10mins cool down.
Apparently it was “insufficient” because I was faster than the recommended pace of 8’30”/km so whatever 😂
Enjoying a coffee, KiKat and sausage roll before I hit legs later. Let’s see how that goes

Boxfit! Damn I’m tired. Felt really energised for the first half then reality set in. Going to make sure I enjoy my rest day tomorrow because I bet my legs are going to scream at me otherwise. Might do a long walk just to make it an active recovery but we’ll see

40min run. Restarted the plan as I wasn’t sure if the last one was the ‘beginner’ plan (turns out it was). Had a slower pace in mind but was still faster than the recommended which was 8’30”/km. Overall not too bad and still cracked the 5km mark 😊

Leg day class! Went pretty well considering the earlier run. Probably helped me stretch out as well 😂
Ended up being just me so it was a nice chill session with the trainer who got me to do all the fun exercises. Think the coffee and a kitkat made this better

Long run: 40mins warm up - 3” fast - 10” recover.
Bit miffed tbh. Apparently I was under the recommended pace. Plus the app cut my recorded time by 10 secs even though I stopped the timer after 53mins. Got leg day later so getting ready for that in a mood 😩
