Fantastic talk from @lucyprodgers.bsky.social at @qmip.bsky.social #QMiP2025 conference on creativity as a way to “capture”/“convey” affective and embodied aspects in research (on fatigue) - not often that I had an “I want to participate in that research” response!

New paper out! We propose a novel dialogical method for qual interviews using audio-visual elicitation + mid-point member reflection. It sparked fresh insights for participants & researchers alike.

Well, this was worth waiting for! I may have sat my viva back in February, but today I received confirmation that I have been awarded Research Excellence by my examiners 🎉It's totally legitimate to celebrate all over again, right?!

Had an evening of cheese, mulled wine and wreath making last night. I mean, what more can one ask for? There is some thing so cathartic about the making process and so satisfying about seeing the end product. I think this may have to be an annual event!

It was such a pleasure to speak to @danbeever.bsky.social about my Crohn's research as someone living with the disease myself. Dan's idea for a podcast on those researching topics they have lived experience of is inspired and I'm very honoured to be the first! Please have a listen and share away 😊
📣Living & Breathing It Episode 1 is out now!🤩

@lucyprodgers.bsky.social was a fantastic guest and joined me to talk about her experience of living with & researching Crohn’s disease👇🏻

Hi to all the fresh & familiar faces here.

I’m doing my part & attempting starter packs for #IBDFamily & #Ostomates. These are who’ve spoken 𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐋𝐘 about these.
