I hate how the new versions of these films seem to suggest that Disney would have done photorealist films if they could, thus denying the artistry of the original animators.

Acis and Galatea are from Greek myth and mentioned in Metamorphosis by Ovid (which I read a bit of at university) the name rang a bell because there's an opera about them
