Free gifts on 2000AD. Just a pottering day today. Sorting and bundling comics for either the shop or online. Washed some plushies (including the vampire turtle), took pics of some vintage books.

I'm rewarding myself for all my hard work this year by taking myself off to Manchester at the weekend to see Arthur Strong's live show. I'll be getting my own xmas and 50th gifts at the merch stand and people will pay me back and wrap them up nice because I said so.

Some childhood books from 40+ years ago. The Great Ghost Rescue seemed written just for me. I absolutely lived in it! Later my reading got a bit lost because I hated school and English. Mrs ****face recommended The Hobbit to me but I rejected it just because. #iknow #stupid #books #puffin #piccolo

My sister last night: The Beatles, Searchers, Everly Brothers, Gene Pitney, Ralph McTell, Bob Dylan. Best of all, launching her own album of funny & beautiful songs about growing up in Bolton listening to all of them. I know she always wanted to be on TOTP but she's made it as far as I'm concerned.
