Yes, well spotted! There are some oversea territories that pull the centroid. I was not able to locate which ones. `rnaturalearth` is great in that it offers so many options of dealing with political boundaries, but also overwhelming, feedback welcome :)

I‘m still trying to evaluate if I believe the science of Dune makes sense. This copy has an Appendix on the Ecology of Dune, that I don’t think I’ve read before so that’s going to be interesting. 😌
