If there’s one thing I love the most, it’s writing conversations.
It’s also hard to write conversations, but I love them so much.
It’s hard to convincingly have two characters hoot the shit and bounce semi-randomly from topic to topic without coming off like a tryhard.
Feels so good to pull off.

Not going to spoil specifics the new IDW book, but I am increasingly feeling like their overall pacing is absolutely fucked.
Before everyone was complaining about things taking way too long to resolve (I did not agree, they had a good handle on arcs), now everything is resolving WAY too fast

And it’s because of this, it’s hard to be knee-jerkingly anti-doomer too.
There’s a lot of concerns that can’t be easily dismissed as a fad, but I also believe that as long as there exists a reality where a kid can pick up a crayon and scribble, we’ll be alright.

Been kinda in the dumpster mentally tonight thinking about AI.
It kind of feels we are on the precipice of smaller-scale art and writing just becoming irrelevant. Tiny things, little human touches even in this like background illustrations and copy writing.
