Our kids brought home a bunch of Reese’s, plus plenty of gummy stuff (which I appreciated for my nut allergic kid). What I missed were the other classics - they collected just one Baby Ruth & 100 Grand!

Yeah, even now I wish they would leave that out of the headline. The girls could have been on regular bikes or just walking. The outcome would have been the same.

Tragically enough, a boy died on an e-bike just the week before in a nearby town. When this happened, immediately people called for regulating e-bikes and assumed the girls were at fault. The level of misinformation and rumors that were flying in the first 24 hours was incredible.

This is our town. I’ve felt like everyone here has been in shock since it happened. One of the most difficult things is separating fact from rumors, while also attempting to answer questions from children who are just attempting to make sense of it.

I’m just impressed it kept their interest. Our kids always ask about what we’re watching without them, then say it sounds boring when we describe it.

Both my husband and I went to Syracuse and while we’re hopeful, we’ve seen them blow games like this before. Cautiously optimistic!
