Really enjoyed it. Obviously presentation isn't great, could do with more polish, but the new battle system is very fun and refreshing, just what the series needs. Story on par with a pokemon game. World is big enough (imo) post game content too grindy unfortunately.

Top 5 game for me. Immaculate presentation, artstyle, music and gameplay. Bosses and animations are so creative. Only downside is the run n guns, but they are optional. Perfect difficulty curve, the ultimate 'one more try' game.

Metal Gear Solid
Great game, amazing voice acting, interesting story and twists and amazing characters. Least enjoyable part of the game for me is actually the gameplay, but it's still really good. Best game over screen of all time. Looking forward to playing MGS2 at some point.

Thought I'd try some Nintendo IPs I haven't played before. Can't believe how much I liked this, didn't think I'd like it at all. I rolled the credits so I guess I 'completed' it? Anyway, still playing, there's loads left to do. Will try and stop playing. Hopefully..

Alien Earth
Really enjoyed it! For me, expanding on the Alien universe is always good, one of my favourite film series. Great characters with good storyline. Episode 5 is one of the best eps of TV ever.

Didn't enjoy it that much really. Difficult in a frustrating way, some quests were hard to follow and it was sometimes difficult to find the way forward. Can't imagine playing this and finishing it without help. 3D Zelda's are way better imo.

Ninja Gaiden Ragebound
One of the best 2d action platformers I've played in ages. Straight up fun. Loved both protagonists. Slicing up demons and the CIA is fun. Quite challenging, true to Ninja Gaiden. On to hard mode now!

Holy shit, I read a book! Been ages since I've read, so was nice getting back into it. 1984 has been on the list for a long time. A difficult read in some parts, the 'story' parts were great, but not enough for me. Overall, importsnt, but not enjoyable, but I feel it wasn't meant to be.

It's cool when the name of a song you like is a reference to something, but you don't know, and then literally years later you happen to come across the thing it's referencing.

Never got around to finishing it back then, so I started over and smashed it out fairly quickly. Very short, but fun game. Addictive gameplay loop. Story is a bit pish. Enemies can get repetitive/annoying. Overall, digging is fun.

Alien Romulus
Finally go round to watching this and it didn't disappoint! Very cinematic, excellent shots and great at building tension. Cast seemed to die off very quickly. Andy was amazing. A very welcome addition to the Alien universe.

Ng2 (x360) is the best action game ever, and while this is based off the inferior Sigma version, I still really enjoyed it. The first half is iconic, but the other world stuff is less interesting. Story is nonsense. Action is incredible. Makes you go, 'fuck yeah' often
