Vertex Ankylos, a respected swordsman among the Chalkydri's ranks! He's a bit of an odd duck (obsessed with angles and lines, won't eat anything with a curve and only walks in straight lines), but he has a good heart. Says "naturally" a lot for some reason.

A cover for Peter Milligan's "Shade, the Changing Man". This series had all the weirdness, all the obsessiveness, and all the unsettling-ness I loved about Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol...basically until issue 25 or so. Then it started getting messy. My favorite part ends at the "Christmas issue". A cover for Grant Morrison's "Doom Patrol". This is an all-timer for me. I don't read many comics, but their run literally reshaped how I thought about creating characters and stories. Highly highly recommend it along with the following Rachel Pollack run. A cover for Guy DeLisle's "Pyongyang". I know this sticks out like a sore thumb among the other comic book comics, and it's more of a graphic novel, but Guy's simple charming style, instruction about the customs and culture of North Korea, and fish-out-of-water sense of humor have made this one of my favorites. I reread it every year or so. A cover for Grant Morrison's "Batman Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth". Call it overly edgy, call it offensive, call it what you will, but I love this thing and the script at the end where you can see all the stuff that got cut out is just the icing on the cake. Morrison strikes again!
