Neurodivergent; Yacht Rock musician; dog lover; long-suffering New York Giants fan; I believe all are equal, and that nobody benefits when anyone is oppressed.
I deactivated my Facebook accounts this afternoon. I feel liberated - after 18 years, it feels like nothing but a timesuck. Don’t know if I’m going back this time. Too much dissent and vitriol right now. It’s no longer fun, especially as long time friendships and family bonds have been destroyed.

A month ago, I felt emotionally whiplashed. With the current changes impacting friends and families directly, I feel emotionally mindfucked. It HAS to get better.

Trying to wrap my brain around the events of the past month…between the plane crashes and the drastic changes in Washington, I feel like I have whiplash from everything that has happened. Continuing to pray for peace, love, unity and understanding during these challenging times.

@modelartist.bsky.social I’m interested in doing classroom modeling work in the DMV, and thought I’d reach out to you to see if you have any suggestions or contacts. Thanks!

I’m choosing to be blissfully ignorant - I know that “45/47” is making radical changes, but I choose not to get emotionally wrapped up in things that I cannot control. That’s about as political as I’m gonna get on here, and that is by choice. Music, sports, travel, these I’ll happily discuss…

Between the fires in Southern California and the frigid temperatures everywhere else, I can’t help but think that this is some kind of sign. This year has started off with nothing but tragedy. We can only hope that things get better and not any worse. 2025 will be a year to remember, for sure!

Seriously considering leaving Facebook around the inauguration….I only expect the vitriol to ramp up at that point. Not worth the aggravation anymore….
