Yeah arrays vs slices is weird, but luckily it doesn’t come up often in practice (though subtleties come up when passing slices and appending to them). The big learning curve coming from Java was that Go is not OOP. Don’t try and treat it like an OOP language or you’ll get yourself in to trouble.

I am an unabashed Go enjoyer. It might be Stockholm Syndrome at this point, but I like the error handling… (and everything else are fun little surprises along the way)
