I understand this take and once shared it, but I kind of disagree. I think seeing the NG is going to make people more nervous and unpredictable. We remember seeing them throw flash bangs onto porches in 2020. I also think the community deserves time to grieve in peace.

So reducing law enforcement and increasing community presence created peace, just like we’ve been saying for years. Who woulda thought.
