Teacher of littles, mom of two grown ups, married forever. The USA I’ve always known is gone. I hope whatever rises from the ashes eventually gives us a government that actually represents ALL of us. 🏳️‍🌈🇺🇦 🏳️‍⚧️
Correction 1st graders not that it changes my point. I work in an elementary school and we hear gunfire outside sometimes because we aren’t far from a military base. It’s terrifying.

I’m thinking one of the looney tunes in charge of nukes should just do it. It’s time for a reset. But then again, the man who jumps the gunman shows the best of humanity. He’s a hero.

The news reported that as well. Of course the idiot in chief should stfu about details early in an investigation.

We are a balmy 28 with light snowfall. I’m going for a walk as soon as it’s light. It looks so pretty out.

It’s the anniversary of Newtown. When nothing changed after 20 kindergarteners died I realized it never will. Gun culture wins and America loses. God this country is a mess.

My daughter lives a block from the scene. She is safe. My heart breaks for the families of those who are not. This is not acceptable. Tomorrow is the anniversary of Newtown. When the hell will more stand up to say we won’t sacrifice our children any more? I’m sorry for your loss.

I noticed this as well. I have given up on legacy media.

I actually lived under a system where people really didn’t get a say, I can spot the warning signs way faster than folks who grew up thinking democracy is just something that sort of runs in the background. We have to fight.

Women, in particular, know how fragile rights can be - how hard-won progress can be rolled back if we do not defend it.

That’s why this #HumanRightsDay we say clearly: Trans rights are human rights. Trans rights are women’s rights. Our struggles are connected. Protecting one protects us all.
Home - Not in our name
As women we reject the narrative that trans+ people are a threat.

One of the things that blows my mind is they laid this all out so clearly. They wrote project 2025 and spent the last 4 years accusing the Biden govt of everything Trump is now doing. It’s nuts.

Margaret, thank you for posting this. It is so important that victims KNOW they are not alone. The abuse is NOT their fault. It’s unfortunately more common than anyone thinks. I’m certain the mistreatment of the Epstein victims is triggering for many.
