My thought exactly. Apart from obvious concerns - as an overseas reader one detail which stands out is the genius of I M Pei's architecture. Colorado is fortunate to host another design masterpiece (by Walter Netsch). The USAF Academy Cadet Chapel.

Not strictly planetary sciences but this image of comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon uploaded in October deserves recognition. Astro photography has a knowledgeable user base here on bsky which is a strength for this site.

This may be of interest. Speculating that the crew will return home via Australia with Latam or Qantas on the South Polar Route and surprised to discover live on FR a China Eastern 777 en-route from Buenos Aires to Auckland ... apparently on its inaugural flight.

Correction to my previous. This image was captured by Curiosity Rover in 2023 [It's been a long day] therefore not a contender for this year's nominations. Still a great shot. Rgds

Quick update. Reasonably sure the image was sourced from an account we both follow here on bsky, however, cannot establish in the time available today when the original was uploaded in higher resolution. Maybe send a line by direct message?

Is there any evidence the transition from hunter gatherers to farming communities caused conflict.

Original source: Useful site for hi-res photos of China military. This ferry flight to South America will be interesting to follow on FR24. Thanks for the upload.

Long before Mir-Shuttle there was a possibility to build on Apollo/Soyuz with a Skylab B/Salyut space station. Another missed opportunity that was ahead of its time.

Landing within walking distance of Surveyor was a spectacular achievement. No wonder that crew were selected to command Skylab. My recollection is the golf club incident on Apollo 14 ended future projects.

Did you hear any feedback over why the German Navy replaced their Lynx fleet with NH90 instead of AW159.

Another interesting detail. Connection seems obvious now.

Interesting detail. Never made the connection. By coincidence - recently read about Fairchild building the Fokker F-27 under license. Another relationship with a partner manufacturer in Europe.

Is there any possibility you could coordinate with a Heli in transit from one of their hut resupply flights. It would be a small enough payload for them to accept and help support your project.
