You joke but the way our seasons gone it can’t be fully discounted 😂

Paul OKeefe has said it and I believe Alasdair Gold has all but confirmed it

Good old Arsenal, constantly fighting adversity. I’m surprised they can field a team on match days such is their injury crisis
January 2, 2025 at 7:52 PM
The other place just seems to get worse by the day. It’s an absolute cesspool now
December 31, 2024 at 12:04 PM
Seriously. Can we just leave it at that. I genuinely couldn’t care at this point as I all I originally did was make an observation based on an interview. It’s football, a game and it’s not that important. It’s Christmas which is more important and I wish you and yours a lovely time.

No, I don’t think he should get a free pass. In fact I actually said to you in previous post he shouldn’t be immune from criticism. All getting a bit tiresome now to be honest. It’s Christmas and I’ve better things to do than argue online. Merry Christmas to you 👍

Jeepers, how far back are we going here? 😂
December 23, 2024 at 7:15 PM
If he had given a foul and a yellow I don’t think anyone would have been too miffed but to give nothing and say it was a natural coming together was a stretch. I agree with you that he didn’t want to make that decision so early
December 23, 2024 at 7:00 PM
And to clarify he shouldn’t be exempt from constructive criticism and feedback from the press and fans alike but some of the criticism is bordering on unhinged currently
December 23, 2024 at 6:57 PM
The Utd job is horrifically difficult. At some point he must surely be thinking ‘what have I done’? His stock was so high before this job but Utd is almost an impossible task
December 23, 2024 at 6:56 PM
They weren’t continuously called naive or didn’t have their 25 year winning managerial history questioned just because they hadn’t managed in one of the traditionally top leagues.
December 23, 2024 at 6:51 PM
Surely it has to be bull. He was sold on the cheap by Everton who I believe didn't really rate him and he's barely played at Atalanta. Is he even better than Gray or Dragusin?
December 23, 2024 at 3:33 PM
Man Utd going largely unnoticed by the general press because of the hysteria over us. An absolute mess of a club from top to bottom
December 23, 2024 at 3:29 PM
There's no way they, or Arsenal, United Villa etc could continue with the amount of injuries and the profile of injuries we've had. The only teams that are deep enough to possibly cope are City and Chelsea (although City are all over the shop currently)
December 23, 2024 at 2:01 PM
Properly unprofessional and very strange. I can't believe he writes for the Guardian!
December 23, 2024 at 1:55 PM
I am seeing more and more things that this guy has said and he seems properly odd. He has a real issue with Ange for some reason. What on earth has he done to upset him so much because he's giving off real Mean Girl vibes
December 23, 2024 at 1:51 PM
Feels like a bit of a desperate act on his part. He must realise that the general feeling amongst a greater portion of the fanbase is starting to turn against him. Someone said the other day that his ego is huge and it will have been dented by the now popular Levy song 🤣
December 23, 2024 at 1:48 PM
Cue headlines along the lines of 'Injury crisis at Arsenal'
December 23, 2024 at 12:45 PM
Yes and Pep has been her for years. Ange has had 18 months. Peps first season was a bit naff until he went and bought a whole new defence, Klopp was up and down at the start, fans were calling for Artetas head during his first couple of seasons when he finished 8th twice
December 23, 2024 at 12:33 PM
Pep is getting scrutiny because he's spent the same amount of money as the GDP of a small nation
December 23, 2024 at 12:26 PM
It may be simplistic but its 100% correct. The people at the very top of our club seem to have a very poor understanding of what it tales to be successful at the top of professional sport. The best sides in the world are constantly adding top talent to maintain and improve
December 23, 2024 at 12:19 PM
I think if you look at Liverpool for example, if you take away 10 players from them like us, they are set up to still cope better than us. Our 'back up' players are at a far lesser standard than theirs. Their bench yesterday was absurdly strong and they were still missing a couple through injury
December 23, 2024 at 12:16 PM
Injuries aside, when you look at the sheer strength of Liverpool's squad compared to ours its a bit chastening. To be honest most of their bench players would get into our team and that's the level of player we should be chasing. We've really been left behind by some in the past few years
December 23, 2024 at 12:13 PM
Klopp was the English media darling and he played virtually the exact same way. In his first couple of seasons they were terribly up and down. Difference is that Liverpool gave him the players he needed to play his way. Spurs haven't thus far
December 23, 2024 at 12:04 PM
What utter weirdo. Just read the whole thing and can only think what an odd person with a ‘look at me’ vibe
