As for Mayor Avery, originally a Vi, she became more based off the flowering process of the Field Pansy.

Vis are based off Mountain Pansies and Wood Violet (Often associated with femme lesbians, so I decided to make these more of the femme-esque beings).

Vios are more based on the patagonian yellow violet; So they're more adventerous little beings.
