This sole rationale completely ignores that not prescribing PBs is not a neutral act: undergoing puberty causes bodily effects that are only partially reversible with extensive later medical intervention, which has lifelong implications.

Reilly-Cooper is, btw, responsible for one of the most breathtakingly dumb misunderstandings that I've ever seen a gender critical philosopher go to bat with, namely the idea that if "gender is a spectrum" then that implies there must be a uniform distribution of people across the spectrum
