Had the privilege of attending two insightful events today! In the morning, Ambassador Yuliya Kovaliv, spoke on Canada & Europe’s role in Russia’s war against Ukraine. In the afternoon, the Konrad Adenauer Chair hosted an engaging discussion on the US’ shift towards autocracy.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to return to this year’s ISA conference in Chicago. I had the chance to present mine and Se Youn Park’s research on deceased ISIS bodies and to chair a panel on "Gender, Violence, and Technology: Intersectionality and Global Disorder."
