I hope everyone had a happy Halloween. Today is Samhain for those that celebrate. 5th Nov is bonfire night. Diwali has just been. I love a fire and light festival. I love that humans of all faiths celebrate finding and holding onto the light as the darkness creeps in.

I'm in a location I dont frequent very often. I'm in a community hall. There's a fiddle band playing folk tunes. There's a kids chess club. There's a dance class. It all feels gentle, calm and to be honest rather lovely.

When I witness terrible things happening and others use them to cause fear and further division, it drains me. I wish that all the good people in every community would come together against those who do harm and break the law.
