C'est une maxime bien essentielle dans le gouvernement, de prévenir que les peuples ne tombent dans une sorte d'indifférence qui leur fasse penser qu'il est égal de vivre sous une domination ou sous une autre

Which businesses prioritize providing public shelter and restrooms over paying customers, or even equivalently to paying customers? Sounds like an interesting concept!

i think it is really strange how many of you responded to those posts — which were just observations about cooking at home — as a personal attack or a lecture about your behavior. if reading a short post about being economical with food drives you into a rage, that’s your issue, not mine

That I can agree with!

Imagine a maga fairness doctrine where every npr story must be balanced by something trump’s bureaucrats decides provides necessary balance etc etc.

I can definitely imagine a Department of Misinformation run by Trump that would be way, way worse. This is the problem with vague, vibes-based hot takes that never get fleshed out into policy details. It’s the same nonsense Trump does with his policy “concepts” - not super helpful.

Imagine how maga would weaponize that one! Would be a nightmare.

How would you accomplish that dismantling? What entity will decide which platforms and pipelines will be dismantled and what criteria will they use? Are you worried about that entity being taken over by those on the other side and used for nefarious purposes?

Ok!

It’s fair to point out when people are clearly misreading something, as you are here. My comment about hallucination was in reference to critics of a descriptive statement about AI, who clearly read-in a lot of normative content that was not in the text.

Enjoying it!

Seems like someone should come up with a description of a logical fallacy where you attack not what someone said, but who they are

It’s weird how all of these educated people can’t understand the difference between descriptive and normative statements/conversations. The original post didn’t argue that a diy solutions manual was a good thing, but all the faux outrage just hallucinated (wink wink) such an argument.

No I don’t do that. Was a fun chat!

Nah I wouldn’t say that.
