Baker’s tip— if you don’t have time to let cream cheese or butter soften at room temperature, put it in the microwave on defrost/30% for 30 seconds or so. If it needs more, do it in 15 second increments

One thing I was adamant about in picking out a pediatrician was finding an office that simply does not allow you to skip vaccines. You can space out the schedule a little if you insist, but you will get that kid their shots or you will not be a patient there anymore

Having had to get my daughter a spinal tap when she was 2 weeks old, yes! This part! It was incredibly frightening and I am not going to let anything like it happen again if I can help it!

Of course, many of the people pushing that line also sell unregulated supplements they claim to the people they’ve scared off of modern medicine

That is the one circumstance where I get it! But that would make me even angrier at the parents who don’t have that to worry about who are now putting my vulnerable kids at risk
