I got a needle felting kit for $5 at the bin store a while ago but I kept trying to make things that were too big (like 2”) and took too long to finish. so I made a very tiny guy instead. Still took like 4 hours somehow

For some reason, the NE Ohio regional sewer district has a great Bluesky account ?. There is fun nature but also a lot of nothing. Michigan has a lot more going on than OH but around the Great Lakes there are Alvars that have a lot of rare species

When I was a kid instead of just going to see Santa we used to go to the mall to see this giant animatronic tree called Woody. We would stand in front of it shouting Wake up, Woody!

Fall walkin by Nankin Lake. I like how the trails look shiny where they’re all covered in leaves. At one point two deer bucks crossed right in front of me in a panicked run being chased by a loose dog

Got to see Grandaddy perform on tour in Detroit tonight. Without being conscious of it I knew every song they played cos I’ve had this music in my car or iPod or wherever for the past 25 years and it got me a bit emotional with it. So many of the concepts just resonate w me on various levels.

The new foster kitties are here!! Sweet little gray mama and 4 little black nuggets 🥹 I think I will name them all musical instruments but haven’t settled on exact ones yet. Maybe Viola for mom 🥰 #catsky

Appreciation for Gigi today. She’s my cat, her tail is very short, she’s very sweet and weird. Before I met her she lived for 3 years in an old chicken coop at an animal sanctuary in Battle Creek. #catsky

Foster kittens Kiki, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin 2024. They were a fun bunch, there was a litter of 6 plus mom! One night Kiki got a bad stomach ache and and got us so worried that we kept her in the bedroom with us over night. But she was fine the next day #kittens #catsky
