Beckett eyed the carafe full of freshly brewed coffee and decided what the hell? She grabbed the carafe and two mismatched cups. Beckett took a deep breath to calm her nerves. She stood beside the table and cleared her throat. The redhead looked up at her with wide startled eyes. Beckett noticed for the first time that not only were her eyes the color of the most gorgeous emeralds but they sparkled like them too. They were complemented by the thin, round, gold framed glasses she wore.
