C# 14 introduces user-defined compound assignment operators.
In previous versions, you could not overload the += operator.
C# 14 allows user types to customize the behavior of compound assignment operators in a way that the target of the assignment is modified in-place.

I just got my first calendar invitation spam mail. iOS shows this in the calendar app invitations, without any chance of deleting it without replying. Does anyone know how to get rid of it without sending a decline mail to the sender?

We are increasing the length of support offered for .NET Standard Term Support (STS) releases from 18 months to 24 months. This change is effective starting with .NET 9 and there is no change for LTS releases.

I had to download Windows 3.1 to get ahold of a smaller version of the Arial TrueType font. The download was 7.5 MB. For the entire operating system. That‘s about twice the size of the current version of Arial.

I tried for fifteen minutes to find out where to log a translation bug in the @microsoft Office portal but have given up. It is very funny that they would use the German word "Büro" when talking about the product #MicrosoftOffice.

I was very fortunate to see Jesus Christ Superstar tonight at the Hollywood Bowl. Absolutely incredible. Cynthia Erivo, Adam Lambert, Phillipa Soo, Josh Gad, Raúl Esparza, Zachary James, Brian Crum, Tyrone Huntley, Milo Mannheim were all mindblowingly incredible.
