I didn’t know what day school started and I told myself I would look after SPAC since it was my last fun trip and it’s actually a week later than I thought. Delaying work one extra week is a glorious gift.

Was able to last minute escape the family vacation in Myrtle Beach and head to Charleston for the show. Have never arrived later or more unprepared for a show so I hope this means good things to come.

We went to the Brady Bunch house today and had the best time!

I assign juniors an extended definition essay. Take any word and “define” it. Use first person and set it up however you want. Usually it’s a favorite because it’s loose and fun writing. This year a kid used ChatGPT to write his essay on “rizz”. This is where we are.

I just got Taylor Sift tickets in the last minute drop so my friend can take her daughters. How am I supposed to sleep now? So much adrenaline! I can’t believe I got them.

I saw a video of the guy boxing tonight hugging his mom. His mom called me in my classroom to try and arrange that I go on stage with him at his local concert so he could apologize for harassing me online. I politely refused the offer. He was 21 at the time and his mom called for him. This adds up.

I don’t have any followers so I feel
like I can say that I taught the guy boxing tonight but barely interacted with him. When he got famous he decided to make videos and harass me online and it was awful and made my life hard. Everyone said “oh don’t react he will go away” and here we are.
