Interesting development on this particular story.
HatGuy going to be reclaiming some lost memories as these two spend time together.

And Sethos seems to know Hat Guy far more than he is letting on. :)

Relatable.

Regrettably you can say the same for most "news" networks

"Two sets of rights" suggests you cannot have rights for one group without eroding the rights of another. That is not the language of rights, it is the language of Privilege. Under framing of which it is clear to see the more privileged from the less so. The opposite of privilege is oppression.

During committees and clinics Councillors may be expected to listen to the people they represent, but they don't have to tolerate harassment or aggressive rhetoric either.

As for the idea of "two sets of rights". A narrative trick that implies competing sets of rights. But easy to dismantle.

How this really reads is a council leader resigns from their party because of realizing there is a conflict of views between themselves and the majority of their colleagues. But the reporting is too surface level to even be able to speculate on the details of what may have actually happened.

I get the impression somehow that the BBC has distorted some aspects of this story. Councillors left the meeting due to feeling threatened is just glossed over without any context provided as to what actually happened to trigger the councillor walk-out. Kind of an important detail to skip over.

But you name dropping Vaati. I like that. Is also a character that can work.

Films would be their own thing, not expanding on existing media but drawing from existing for its own universal cocktail. It's the only reason why I think MM to open works. It's a smaller scale of villain to work with to focus on the protagonists and keep a Ganon payoff for a sequels investment.

The idea of adaptation is to sometimes take aspects from one story and craft something new entirely. I wouldn't have a "Navi" in the Movieverse at all.

Navi was just a named game tool given character but primarily developed to assist players with the transition to 3D gaming.

But it's the most interesting one to adapt and expand on.

Zelda is still a Princess but also freely studies archeology as part of trying to understand the history of Magic in Hyrule. It so happens this also on occasion involves coming across demonic artifacts.
