I am shamed by American curler Dopkins’ behavior at the Olympics. Screaming after a good shot and inciting U-S-A chants is the opposite of competitive grace and dignity. By the way, how’d that work out for you in the medal round, dude?

I’ve seen the horrific video of another fatal ICE shooting. It’s clear that ICE agents are doing more harm than good in Minneapolis. Time for reforms. They aren’t effectively doing their jobs or keeping Americans safe – they are endangering people.

1889 Paris Exposition Universelle of superlatives w/ the Eiffel Tower (world's tallest bldg). As a media spectacle, Champagne Mercier hauled in a 200,000 btl barrel from Epernay - drawn by 24 oxen & 12 horses. Mercier owned the rights to “Dom Perignon” and sold them to Moet & Chandon in 1927
