for me, I think we've reached AGI when claude started disabling rubocop tests instead of fixing the code

claude is a bit greedy

github is going to be charging per-minute for self-host action runners

your -own- servers running workflows, and github wants money for it

what

kamal devs not knowing what the format for an optional vs required parameter is 🤦‍♂️

I think this’ll be my christmas break 🥰

No idea that was so much fun

it's a simple Newtonian n-body sim. You can drag emojis into orbit around the Sun, switch to an Earth/Moon view to see lunar orbit up close, or throw things into a black hole

what's the most ridiculous "stable" orbit you can get?

I was explaining orbital dynamics to someone today (at a very basic level) and realized it would be way easier to just show it.

so we built this little gravity sandbox in about 30 minutes with Claude (link below) 👀

it's really fun to try and get a stable orbit 😊

huh, AVG does not like ngrok 🙄

working on improving the user experience of the @MuteDeck Stream Deck plugin with:

- Show the supported apps with each action
- Add a ton of pre populated actions to save manual work
- Custom -> Other actions for simplicity

the action is powerful, but labeled too complex

prompt tip:

there are a lot of PNG -> SVG converter tools, but they all suck

Adobe, canva, freeconvert, and more have issues with anything that is a little more complex then an icon. Note the squiggly lines 👇

convertio . co was spot on - if you need an SVG conversion, go there 😊

it might seem obvious, it might not, but make sure your checkout flow is seamless

need the user to login first? remember what they were doing and automatically continue it, once they're logged in

new account? same deal, continue automatically after they've registered

this trend definitely has to stop, now.

if not, regular computers are going to cost 2-4x as much soon, all to feed this 🤖 bubble

I think I'm on too many meetings
December 4, 2025 at 4:01 PM
yeah, this feels appropriate for 2025

enabling error logging on an existing frontend is going to hurt at first

you'll spend some time filtering out extension issues, anything that's unrelated to your codebase

but the end result of having no errors on your frontend is worth it

You order LEGOs and get sandpaper

Is this a message? 🤔

gotta get around those bot checks

used to be when it needed something, now it's on every single step
