New update: Really trying to leave the trashcan that X has become. I post rarely, but occasionally will offer a bad political take.

That's crazy talk!!

They wouldn't care if it was anonymous.

There were truckloads of them in the street in NYC. Churches full of them in Spain.

I mean with covid a lot of people died too.

But we have actual data on how they will react. Because COVID.

They will go out without masks, even when sick, and if you ask them to mask they will cough in your face on purpose.

"...as most pageant winners are."

That's a killer line, you gotta admit.

I remember saying this about Spanglish in 2004

Not to mention that a gerrymander to get more seats are going to leave a lot of districts very vulnerable to a +9+ shift from (R) to (D).

Telegram or Signal seem to be their communication method of choice.

Though phone call records might be enough to show collaboration.

Measles has a transmission factor of R12. How do you contract trace THAT?

And that's true across almost all rpgs -- the story's end is pre-determined. Some or all of the PCs may die, but the grand story is unchanged. That's a trad game.
December 11, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Along the same lines, from a GM perspective, a trad game is going to end at THIS SPOT, pretty much regardless of player action (something I detest in most RPGs I play). I've played Cyberpunk where no matter how successful/unsuccessful you were at the task you got absolutely rolled at end.
December 11, 2025 at 2:22 PM
I'm an Older Gamer(tm), so I only grew up with trad gaming. The only story game I've really encountered is probably Dialect?

One way to differentiate them is, "Do I as a player always try to do what's in the best interest of my character (heroic sacrifice meets that criteria sometimes)?"
December 11, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Well, the problem there is who's story are you telling? The GM's or the players'?
December 11, 2025 at 2:10 PM
I hate that I know the context of this.

I'm so sorry for your loss Raffi.

I do find it amusing because it says that Jacksonville was the largest city in the US with a GOP mayor.* **

* Oh, it's 10th. I had no clue.
** Also, it isn't. The Mayor of Dallas changed parties after winning his election from DEM to GOP.
December 10, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Got any proof to back that assertion up?

(language, memory, visuospatial skills) by challenging word-finding and recognition, revealing subtle cognitive issues when someone can't name them or describe their context, and these animals are culturally adapted for different regions to ensure fairness. "

interesting. When I was thinking about this I found the following:
"The MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) uses a lion, rhino, and camel for its animal naming task because they are complex, low-familiarity animals that effectively test specific brain functions ...

Question:
On your cognitive examine is it Tiger, Elephant, Giraffe, or is it Lion, Rhino, Camel?
December 10, 2025 at 3:26 PM
they are less frequently seen in Western countries and thus are low-familiarity items that can better detect subtle word-finding difficulties."
December 10, 2025 at 4:26 AM
Hey is that as terrifying as I think it is? There's pretty much the only animals shown to American's in the MoCA exam?

From google ai: "The animals in the original English version are always the lion, rhinoceros (or rhino), and camel (or dromedary), chosen because ....
