The refurbished United Polaris Lounge at O’Hare is cool. I went to the speakeasy bar to order the United Polaris Star cocktail. And I’m waiting on a burger at the restaurant. Very cool vibe.

I typically use this meme when mansplaining is involved, but I really think this also illustrates how we got to the debacle with national security and the entire administration at this point.

I work in Chicago, but my boss lives in OK. I was on a Teams call with her when I heard her get startled by a large boom. It was her neighbor’s tree. She texted me pictures of two trees that were knocked down by the crazy winds. They are lucky these trees didn’t cause damage or hurt anyone.

I made some banana bread with mini chocolate chips, but I have never tried making mini loaves before. My experiment was a success!

I’m having one available for the next few days, and the other 3 will be stored in the freezer. I’ll try to keep my self control.
