My nephew is a firefighter who spent 60 hours on the Palisades fire before resting up for more. The conditions are unprecedented. Tightly packed structures, dense dry brush that’s not seen rain in months, and 80-100 mph winds that grounded air support and made water useless. He took this photo. 😞

This is an apocalyptic situation and this a**hat can’t say one helpful thing.
We’re ~ 12 miles as the crow flies from Malibu/Palisades. So much has been destroyed. We are safe. Thankful for solar power, our firefighters, and Governor Newsom.
