Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it. The middleman idea is actually really good! Lol. Well, the person actually ended up reaching out to me about it, so that made things a little easier.. I'm gonna let them decide if and how they'd like to receive the art

Yeah, the art would for sure be sfw. I just dunno how they would even see it without like tagging or dming them, you know?? I'm not sure if that's appropriate since I'm MDNI, and I would basically be making them interact at that point 😭

Not too much. If it ever became a problem, I suppose you could always prove that your oc is the og via timestamps. Though, someone who is so uncreative that they need to steal character designs will likely never do anything remarkable with it, and it'll become apparent that theirs is the knockoff
