Currently writing: Book 2 of the Hearts & Tailwinds Series: Stealth Secrets
Second chance romance is really just 80k words about how touch has a memory and sometimes that memory is stronger than every logical reason to walk away.

The most awkward thing about loving someone from a different world? When his job is literally repossessing assets from people in YOUR world. Astrid and Alex never stood a chance (but they tried anyway). amzn.to/4ouhO4X

Me writing: "They locked eyes and years of longing crashed over them"<br>My actual life: avoiding eye contact at the grocery store<br>The range! The duality! The hermit writer brand!

Nothing tests a relationship like your dad's poker buddy calling him a thief and your boyfriend is standing right there. Because technically? He DID take the plane. He was just... legally allowed to. 🛩️ amzn.to/4ouhO4X

"Right person, wrong time" in second chance romance only works if the TIME actually changed something meaningful. Otherwise it's just "right person, we wasted years for no reason." Stakes matter.

My relationship origin story: met, dated, stayed together. My CHARACTERS' origin story: explosive breakup, years of pining, dramatic reunion. Guess which one makes for better reading? 💀

Writing second chance romance from a stable long-term relationship is wild. I'm out here inventing emotional devastation I'm so grateful I never experienced. Fiction is cheaper than therapy?

The "right person, wrong time" to "right person, finally the right time" pipeline is chef's kiss when done well. What makes you believe they're ready THIS time?

Picture this: family dinner, dad's business partner, casual conversation about the repo man who "stole" his plane. Your boyfriend is the repo man. You're just sitting there with your wine like 🙃 ASTRID & ALEX amzn.to/4ouhO4X

There's something devastating about writing the moment they realize they COULD have worked out if they'd just been braver/older/wiser. That's the whole subgenre in one gut punch.

The thing about high school sweethearts: you either grow together or grow apart. Alex and Astrid did the second. Now they're trying the first. LOVING ASTRID—book 2 is here. amzn.to/4ovBkOA

"Wrong side of the tracks" romance hits different when both of them have grown up, built lives, and thought they were over it. Spoiler: they're not over it. Not even close. ASTRID & ALEX 🔥 amzn.to/4ouhO4X

The hope embedded in "right person, wrong time" is that time changes things. People grow. Wounds heal. Circumstances shift. That's why second chance romance feels so possible, so EARNED.

The awkwardness of Astrid's life: "Oh, you know my boyfriend! He's the one who took your Cessna last month." ASTRID & ALEX—where class divide meets actual job descriptions. 🛩️💀 amzn.to/4ouhO4X

Imagine dating the guy who repos planes from your dad's golf buddies. Now imagine trying to explain that at the country club. Alex and Astrid's relationship was doomed from "nice to meet you, sir." amzn.to/4ouhO4X

Writing epic love stories from my couch in the same pajamas for 48 hours is the life I chose and honestly? My characters can have the drama. I'll take the yoga pants and stability.

Sometimes I envy my characters' messy, passionate second chances. Then I remember I'd have to leave the house and talk to people and honestly? I'm good. My way is better for me, worse for plot.

The irony of being a hermit romance writer: I write about people desperate to reconnect while I'm here deliberately not answering texts so I can write in peace.

Is there such a thing as TOO MUCH groveling in a second chance romance? Asking for a friend (the friend is my protagonist who's about to grovel for 40 pages)

They were high school sweethearts from opposite sides of the tracks. Now they're back in each other's orbit and nothing is simple. If you love second chance romance with HEAT and heart, meet Alex and Astrid. amzn.to/4ouhO4X

Rich girl, blue collar boy, and a love that refused to die even when it should have. If you're into second chance romance with class conflict and steam, Alex and Astrid are your next obsession. amzn.to/4ouhO4X

Second chance romance question: Is it hotter when they remember EVERYTHING about each other's bodies, or when they have to relearn? Both feel so intimate in different ways. Thoughts?

Me: writes 5000 words about yearning and lost love<br>Also me: hasn't left my house in 4 days and is thriving<br>The hermit romance writer aesthetic is REAL.
