I don’t know how everything will pan out, but there is one name that scares me: Donald Trump, Jr.

I recently watched the 2016 film, “Silence.” It is quite long, but I think that it is one of the greatest movies ever made, certainly one of the greatest of the relatively few movies that ask us to think about religious questions.

There is no distinction between good AI fabrications and bad AI fabrications. It doesn’t matter that we might agree with whatever ideological point any particular fake AI video seems intended to make. Deception is like political violence: If your message is good, you shouldn’t have to rely on it.

One of the oddest bits of Hollywood trivia that I ever ran into is the fact that Marlon Brando kept Wally Cox’s ashes after his cremation and that Cox’s and Brando’s ashes were later scattered together in Death Valley. I remember Cox as one of the “Hollywood Squares” and as the voice of Underdog.
