It’s clear hard-right Republicans want to disenfranchise American married women who,as was the norm, changed our last names to our husband’s family name. SAVE Act is NOT about safe and reliable ID for voting; they don’t want women or anyone who’s not able to get a passport or acceptable id to vote.

So Sen. Roger Wicker doesn’t want an OCE facility in his state. Is his stance against ICE detainment camps in general or is it a NIMBY thing? If folks in red states don’t want them bc it’s morally reprehensible and he’s representing them, great! But if it’s NIMBY, well then it’s just hypocritical.
