"it was a calculated withdrawal, from the life of the Republic, from its machinery. Since they could not have withdrawn into a vacuum (could they?), there had to exist the separate, silent, unsuspected world."
how to preserve the AI bubble?

Simple, government subsides.
That's where your taxes will go.
You shall starve for AIs.

Covid showed humanity has to face disasters, but it felt like some weird, unjust enemy. An external threat.

AI will prove the enemy is entirely man-made and man-driven.

these seems nothing for non-gamers, but I think this is just the beginning of a real economy crash.
In the sense that they'll do EVERYTHING to avoid the AI bubble crash, and to avoid it the real economy will be destroyed first.
I expect inflation to grow to crazy levels next year, worldwide.

huh, I just got the hardcover of Ice by Jacek Dukaj (after the first shipment apparently got lost)
but I don't understand, it looks like it's signed? I mean, it's just a normal order from Amazon.
This image is taken from some random ebay, and the signature I have looks actually quite different...

Nvidia is so poor that now they have pop-up ads in their drivers app.

How can they feed their families otherwise?

Trump has murdered at least 83 people with extrajudicial military strikes on alleged drug-trafficking boats.

He needs to face consequences for this.

His secretary of DHHS, RFK Jr., will kill several orders of magnitude more with this disinformation.
This is completely disgusting. Today, the CDC updated their vaccine safety page. It now says:

“The claim "vaccines do not cause autism" is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism”.

I'm starting to see how the "Epstein files", whatever they are, might end up backfiring.
It seems a power struggle, but on a different perspective just a simple trap.
Things are too well aligned to be inconvenient for the current power.
One hand controls the game.

You've seen capsule summaries of What's Happening. Why 1/3 of Americans desperately suckle lies from the Fox teat, even after all the insanity we've seen? Here's mine.

decided to try Where Winds Meet, selected legendary difficulty, spent half an hour on the tutorial boss.
This alone is worth the hassle of the download. It was amazing (even if the control scheme was bad and I still haven't figured out properly attack in those 30 minutes...)
