I know it sounds weird but your body can make small movements easier than big ones in any sleep state, helps wake up.

And I hate to be that person but it worked actual magic for me, but sleep hygiene actually fixed my fucked ip sleep but god is it annoying 😭😭

U can rein them in- currently I never hallucinate anything that isn’t extremely realistic, and it kinda helps bc gives me a chance to respond realistically. Also, small motor functions. If something has you locked in focus on wiggle your toes or licking your teeth

How long have you had them? A thing about these sleep states is after a while u can kinda just walk outta them, control it a little. I’ve had them since as early as I remember, u don’t quite get to lucid dreaming but u get a bit more control

I usually say sleep paralysis is body asleep brain awake, and hypno/nagogic hallucinations is body awake brain asleep! You can physically function just fine, but ur brain is having its own lil party in the bg
