Back when he was more popular so much stuff used to go between all the Iberian people, and then to America, it was good for cultural stuff... sadly none of the sources I found on Pedro de Urdemalas as a character through time (one of the specific topics I worked on) mentioned Malasart[...]

Went to check the spanish version and it feels like ot was written by a very passionate linguist, amazing.
Also I was thinking it sounded a lot like picaresca, continued reading and found "Pedro Malasartes"... he's the portuguese name version of one of my favourite folklore characters[...]
