I've seen people saying that the devs have lost valves trust and that "there's no telling what they'll try next!", as if they haven't won awards or didn't alter the scene of their own volition. They actually think the devs are going to patch in Rapelay later.

I keep seeing indie devs trying to make their own cuphead clone, rubberhose animation and all. It's just setting yourself up for unflattering comparisons, your game will just be known as "Cuphead but worse".

The game has an ESRB rating and is being released on Epic and GOG, like how dense do you have to be to believe Valve are in the right here?

The entire conversation is just dominated by PC gamers saying "We believe games are a lesser medium compared to film and books, praise gaben!" and the 'I hate Collective Shout but some of these games give me the ICK!' type just going "Ah well maybe they have a point!"

I know I harp on about this example a lot but when Chaos;Head got denied a steam release people dug their heels in that it must have "deserved". When they found out you could buy it for the switch at a Walmart they still believed Valve was in the right. It's just fanboyism.
