Analyst, Aussie, car nerd, dad.
I like engineering, electronica, occasional harsh language. Heavy Industry and complex system Asset Management. Regular smart ass. If you can take my comment two ways, assume the nice way first.
Vaguely related, an old Navy buddy of mine has a dark green 5.0 statesman in his secret stash (covered bottom right). It's riddled with motor parts for a VN Group A SS that he got from his mum who used to run an auto parts business. Also I'm this pic LC GTR XU1 and LX SS, and Sandman pano.

VT? I don't remember VS having the same wheels. If they are staggered, I think it has to do with the weird hubs or clearance on the IRS. I vaguely recall the only OEM wheels I could fit on my VPII Calais were the VR Clubsport 17s. The guy I sold it to, painted it matte black and fitted them.

I was really hoping the VX220 would make it to Oz despite knowing that at 198cm, there is no way I was going to fit. 😅

Honestly, it's getting worse. I had Gr0nk praising me for forcing it to continually revise a wildly inaccurate estimate. Then there was this little gem today...

There used to be a local one (early 70s model) but I haven't seen it for years. Any idea how old the one you spotted was? I thought we may have assembled CKDs here like we did with Plymouths and Pontiacs, but it was actually the other way around. Our Falcon CKDs went to SAf #weirdcarbs

Too late! 😂

People like this really get on my nerves, possibly because it ruins the illusion that everyone says nice things about me when I leave the room, as opposed to "thank God [*loud exhale]".
